Jennifer Militello was born in New York City and grew up in Rhode Island. She earned a BA at the University of New Hampshire, an MFA at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and a PhD at Bath Spa University in England. She has taught at Brown University, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Rhode Island School of Design and currently teaches in the MFA program at New England College. She lives in Goffstown, New Hampshire.
